The Fountain pub is back with a fresh look, new menu, and focus on community after renovations.

The building dates back to the 16th century and now has a fresh look. There is also a new menu. The pub wants the community’s support and they are excited to welcome people back.
The new menu features local ingredients. Thomas Driscoll-Evans shared details, stating that their food now matches the venue’s quality. They aim to support local farmers and fisheries.
The building’s age caused renovation delays. The flooring was especially tricky and workers painstakingly renovated the pub by hand. They’d been closed since January 3.
They restored the original stone floor, as people overwhelmingly wanted them to keep it. It needed fourteen sealant coats, not three, but the work was worth the effort.
Hayley Lee became the new manager last year. She previously transformed the Bildeston Crown. The pub still plans to showcase local beers and they will focus on the community.
The staff passionately support the pub’s revival. Driscoll-Evans believes in doing things right and everyone cares deeply about the place. The pub wants community celebration, and they hope the village will support them.
