Residents enjoyed tea, samosas, cake, and each other’s company at a community tea party in Watford.

The tea party lasted two hours, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Many people came from North Watford, while others traveled from further away to enjoy tea, samosas, cake, and each other’s company.
Hollytree House felt warm and happy, with the wonderful smell of tea and baked goods filling the air. The party created a sense of unity, providing a social place for everyone to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other’s presence.
Councillor Khan expressed his happiness about the event. He noted the presence of many community members and described the response as fantastic.
The inviting atmosphere proved the worth of social spaces where people can meet, talk, and feel like they belong. These events fight social isolation and help strengthen community bonds.
Councillor Khan wants to plan more gatherings, aiming to build on the tea party’s success and facilitate connections among local people. Meaningful conversations are important to him.
