Iain Cochran Architects Opens Doors in Felixstowe Bent Hill
The practice celebrates its launch with an exhibit. “Pens, Pencils, Architecture” displays their drawings. The show opened Friday, February 28 and runs daily until this Friday, March 7, from 10 am to 4:30 pm.
The Leather Shop was there for 57 years and closed a couple of years ago. Iain Cochran Architects is led by Iain Cochran and Sam Wingate. The Royal Institute of British Architects charters it.
Iain Cochran worked at Hawkins Brown in London for 17 years. He was a partner there, managing housing projects and overseeing the development and construction of 2,500 homes. This included a very large Passivhaus project with Camden Council’s involvement. He also worked for Peabody and the City of London, building affordable homes.
The former Leather Shop needed renovation, which they prepared it to reopen as the architect’s office.
