Paul Williams, 43, died near Bronwylfa Hall. This happened on Saturday, June 22, 2024. He lived in Stryd-Issa, Penycae.

An inquest occurred on Tuesday, February 18 at County Hall in Ruthin. The inquest investigated his death.

Someone found a silver Audi overturned on June 22 around 7:10 am. The car was near a house. Emergency services arrived quickly and identified Paul Williams as the driver.

He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Police found something unknown on him. A traffic officer arrived at 8:55 am and reported the weather was dry with favorable road conditions.

Dr. Muhammad Aslam’s post-mortem exam revealed drug and alcohol toxicity. This caused heart and lung failure.

Kate Robertson, the assistant coroner for North Wales East and Central, ruled the death a suicide.

Williams sought mental health help in 2019. His doctor noted periods of low moods, and Williams took medicine to help.
