A mother’s nightmare as a stranger enters her home and attempts to take her baby from a buggy in Poole.
The intruder unclipped Mary’s son from his buggy. She reportedly tried leaving through the back door with him. A relative noticed the woman and became suspicious.
The relative inquired if Mary knew the stranger. Mary spoke with the Bournemouth Echo about it. Someone holding your baby creates a scary feeling, she said.
Her family got really shaken up by this event. Mary’s daughter checks on her baby brother constantly now. Dorset Police got a report around 3 pm on February 7.
They learned a woman entered a Poole home. She held a child, police confirmed. The police spokesperson reported the child stayed at the house. The child suffered zero injuries during the event.
Officers came to the address soon after that. They arrested a woman in her 30s. The woman got released on bail afterward by police. They took her to a mental health facility. She will get proper medical care there right away. Police stated inquiries are still active.
