Inverness Castle’s revamp nears completion. The Rose Window, enhanced with special tech, is predicted to amaze visitors.

Workhaus Projects leads the fit-out work. Director Joe Fisher mentioned bespoke elements. They are making floating hologram-like projections. Video walls behind the Rose Window will enhance it.
Mather & Co’s Chris Mather loves the Rose Window. He says they brought it to life uniquely, using effective front and back projection. The team made it appear to float.
The Rose Window isn’t the only cool feature. A whisky waterfall especially excites the team. Visitors can interact with many exhibits. The Tartan Room lets you create a tartan and then take a selfie with it.
Small rooms in the South Tower are packed. Audio-visual and theatrical elements enhance rooms. Each room offers a special experience.
Mather also mentioned retaining the old surfaces, creating unusual and cozy spaces. Terraces have wonderful views for everyone. The whisky waterfall is no ordinary exhibit, as it features special curated spirits.
This tasting experience excites Mather greatly. Jason Kelman is a Highland Council project manager.
He mentioned progress with the link building’s glazing. Installation of the glass was a key milestone. The detailing system was complex. He is very pleased with the glazing installation.
