Plans submitted for a drive-thru coffee shop at Inverness Morrisons, using unused parking spaces. New chargers and cycle stands planned.

The drive-thru could go in the Morrisons supermarket parking lot. This Morrisons is on Millburn Road. Plans show it uses unused parking spots there. Motor Fuels Group wants to build it. They would put the coffee shop on the lot’s northeast side.
It is far from the store entrance. The space is next to Millburn Road’s junction. Architects stated the plan offers more choices. Customers benefit from a new drive-thru coffee shop. It can also create new jobs.
The group hopes for community support. The plan removes some parking spaces. Surveys show the remaining lot is enough. It allows space for the store and drive-thru.
They will install seven new fast vehicle chargers. Two cycle stands will be added too. The coffee shop covers 217 sq m outside. It has 169 sq m of space inside.
Twenty-six sq m are allotted to the utility yard. There’s even an outdoor seating area.
