Hey, something happened in Inverness. A man, aged 50, got stabbed on Tomnahurich Street. It was a serious attack late at night. Detectives are investigating right now.

The man’s condition is unknown, however, reports confirm stab wounds. The police are asking for help; this incident happened around 10:15 PM on Thursday evening, so police responded quickly.

Crime scene officers are checking the area, examining the street and buildings, near Tomnahurich Street’s corner. Kenneth Street is also involved in their investigation.

Emergency services took him to Raigmore Hospital. Police are working to understand what fully happened, wanting to find out every detail. It is an extensive operation.

Detective Inspector Calum Reid commented that officers are working hard on this case and wants the community to feel safe, doing what they can to find the attacker.

The police are reviewing CCTV footage, also going door-to-door for any evidence. They need people’s assistance, especially if they saw anything.
