Police in Inverness resolve incident at Smithton Park; one man arrested after reports of disturbance and a blunt weapon.

The police showed up to Smithton, closing off part of the street. People on social media saw lots of police cars and officers and started talking about it online.
Firefighters also arrived, after police asked them to come around 12:25 PM. Two fire trucks went to Smithton.
Around 3 PM, police said they were worried about someone. Later, at 4:25 PM, they gave another update, saying they arrested a man. Witnesses saw the police tape come down soon after, and the fire trucks left around 4:17 PM. Everything seemed to wrap up quickly.
A police person said they got a call at 11:35 AM about a man with a weapon. He was causing problems at Smithton Park. Officers found the 39-year-old man in an apartment close by, arresting him, and are still looking into what happened.
