Three Inverness teens secure apprenticeships at Dicksons, launching motor industry careers via a new company scheme.

Archi Hay, Caitlin Nairn, and Erin Conway are all young and will train with Dicksons while working. The Apprentec scheme helps Dicksons grow; they want young people to become future employees.
Linda MacPhee talked about Dicksons’ growth plans, saying this program will lead to success later. The program includes many jobs inside the company, covering technical and admin roles.
Dicksons wants people of all ages to apply and will provide a good salary while training. People will gain qualifications with Dicksons’ partners. Archi is training to be a technician, Caitlin will be a service advisor, and Erin is learning vehicle administration.
Linda progressed through the company herself, starting in the motor trade at 16. Originally from Benbecula, she became aftersales director in 2022.
Dicksons had a management buy-out last year and employs over seventy people. They expect to reach one hundred employees and also plan to double turnover to £100 million soon.
