Recent car thefts in Ipswich prompt police warnings. Valuables were stolen from unlocked or damaged vehicles.

First, on Granville Street, incident number 37/8796/25 occurred. Someone smashed a car window around 11 PM on February 15th, and the thief took a wallet plus a passport.
Then on Ranelagh Road, incident 37/8935/25 happened: someone stole two phones from a car between February 15th and 16th. The car was unlocked in the parking area.
Next, a car on Fonnereau Road got hit, incident 37/9001/25. Between February 16th and 17th, someone broke a car window and grabbed a black bag with stuff inside it.
Kirby Street, incident number 37/8864/25, also saw a break-in. Someone entered an unlocked car between February 15th and 16th and took a wallet and things like cash. Sunglasses and the stereo were also stolen.
Lastly, on Kelly Road, incident 37/8240/25 happened. Between February 11th and 12th, someone broke into a van and stole food, change, a torch, and keys.
Police advise locking cars and closing windows. They also ask people to secure things outside cars and not leave valuables inside your car where they can be easily stolen.
