Suffolk Highways aims to open the Europa Way link road by March. This connects Bramford Road, easing traffic.

Suffolk Highways gave us an update. Bramford Road closed on January 27, creating a long detour through Bramford and Sproughton. They plan to reopen it on February 28.
The new road might open in March, earlier than the originally planned April completion date. They finished a footpath on Bramford Road’s north side. New kerbs and drains are also ready, and they’ve even improved the street lights.
Remember, the project started last October. Work has begun on a new mini roundabout, and workers are installing new traffic islands. They will soon surface the new road, expecting to lay 2,200 tonnes of asphalt.
The project should improve connections, linking Bramford Road and Sproughton Road. The council wants to ease traffic issues and hopes to reduce congestion during busy times. It should also help keep traffic off local streets.
