The Valentine’s Ball at Ipswich Town Hall raised £8,000 for Suffolk Refugee Support, aiding refugees.

One big moment was Daryas’ performance. He is an 18-year-old refugee. Daryas came from Kurdistan originally. He sang three folk songs.
DPL Group and Friel organized the ball. GBS Builders were a sponsor. The event collected roughly £8,000. This money went to Suffolk Refugee Support.
Vincent Langley spoke about the ball. He directs DPL Group. The ball has aided local charities for 30 years. It was the largest ball yet.
Langley stated why they chose the charity. Suffolk Refugee Support does excellent work nearby. They want to show support to those needing help. Daryas’ performance touched people deeply.
Clare Friel also commented. She manages Friel firm. The ball raised a lot of money. She said it assists an amazing local charity. Daryas’ singing was very emotional for the crowd.
