Rayner’s support publicized Maneki Ramen’s fundraiser to open their new Birmingham restaurant. Goal met; opening April 2025!

Rayner mentioned their crowdfunding in a Guardian article. They have now reached their fundraising goal. He wrote about rewards for donors. These included dining credits. Chef Pete Dovaston will cook at Guy Ritchie’s Wild Kitchen for someone.
Davidson said Rayner is a famous food critic. He visited their Hereford burger shop earlier. Rayner wrote a good review then. He also visited their London restaurant and gave them five stars. Davidson appreciates Rayner’s continued support.
Maneki Ramen opened in Worcester in 2021 under the railway arches. It quickly became popular and won an award. It was named best Japanese restaurant. This success led them to expand. They chose a location in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Davidson believes Rayner is great. The mention brought more attention, which meant they finally reached their goal. Getting national press was amazing. Maneki Ramen raised £95,000 in a month. Work has already started at the Birmingham site. They plan to open in April 2025.
