Jefferies Fish & Chips replaces Landamore’s in Coltishall, with owner Kevin Jefferies optimistic about the future.

Mark Landamore and Jane Ballard owned Landamore’s. They decided to move on to new things, so they closed the shop back in August.
Kevin Jefferies then opened his place in late January. Kevin said it’s been really good so far and mentioned some challenges, but overall he likes it.
Kevin has seen many new faces and many regulars also came back to the shop. People seem happy it’s still a fish and chip shop, as they really missed having one.
Kevin hopes locals will let him perfect things. He has already added new items to the menu and used to work in property development.
He uses sausages from Hewitt & Grant, a local butcher. These sausages are proving pretty popular, which is good news for local businesses!
The shop wants to have nightly specials and also plan to offer local pies. A mushroom and tarragon vegetarian pie is coming soon too.
Kevin said they got lots of good reviews online. This makes him feel positive about the future, and it seems like a good start.
