Today’s interview is with Jodie Stott, owner of Jodie Stott Hairdressing, located above number 58 The Green in Haughton, Darlington. Jodie is 33 and has been a hairdresser for over 20 years. She started as a Saturday helper at age 13, entering a salon and loving it right away.
Jodie completed a hairdressing apprenticeship when she was 16, marking the start of her career. She has lived in Darlington for almost seven years, having been born in West Yorkshire. Her salon remains above number 58 The Green, in Haughton.
Jodie loves Darlington and says it’s great because of its lovely, joyful people. Her husband is in the military, and they’ve lived all over due to his deployments. Darlington is one of her favorite places to reside.
Jodie’s clients have become her friends, supporting her when her husband is away. She is grateful for her loyal clients, always welcoming new and familiar faces. She appreciates their support a lot.
