Enjoy stories like “Cave Baby” in Kents Cavern for World Book Day! Activities include crafts, trails, and author visits.

Until March 9, they have storytelling sessions. They are reading books like “Cave Baby,” “The Gruffalo,” and “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.” “Stone Girl, Bone Girl,” and “Stone Age Boy” will also be included.
Families can hear as many stories as they want. They will use a big screen for the pictures. This will help kids see the illustrations, ensuring all ages may enjoy the experience.
Kids can make bookmarks at a free craft station that is available all day long. Staff donated many free books to give away, so everyone can browse the selection.
Follow an alphabet trail in the cave tour to find the name of a famous writer. Get a free pencil to help you write stories and draw some pictures.
Locals get half-price admission this month as part of Kents Cavern’s special offer.
Jennifer Davy, an author from Cornwall, visits on March 9. She will read “Chloe & the Bright Idea,” which is about mining caves.
Tonight, March 6, is an adults-only event honoring Agatha Christie. Matt Newbury from the Agatha Christie Festival will talk about her adventurous side. The cave appears in her book, and tickets cost £12 online.
