Two individuals face a Kenyan court after arrest in connection to the death of a Scottish businessman found in Nairobi.

Reports say the pair appeared in a Milimani court on Monday. They got arrested for Campbell Scott’s death. Scott’s body was found in a pineapple sack in a forest. He went missing in Nairobi.
He was last seen on February 16 when he attended a conference at the JW Marriott Hotel in Nairobi. His body was found on February 24, about 66 miles southeast of Nairobi. His hands were tied.
Thomas Maitha, a local administrator, spoke to The Standard newspaper. He said Scott seemed tortured and the body was in bad shape. This prompted them to escalate the matter. He said the killer(s) tied Scott’s hands back and stuffed the body in a sack packed with ripe pineapples.
Campbell was from Dunfermline, Fife, and worked as a senior director at Fico. His company handles credit scoring. A Fico spokesperson commented after his death that they were devastated. He joined Fico in 2014 and introduced scores to new markets. They will miss his humor and kindness.
Kenyan police called it a heinous crime, saying investigations are intricate and complex. The homicide unit now leads the investigation. The Foreign Office gave a statement that they are supporting the British man’s family and are in contact with local authorities.
