Police in Kenya are confident they will catch the killer of a Scottish businessman found dead in a pineapple sack.

He went to a conference in Nairobi during February and stayed at the JW Marriot Hotel. Sadly, people last saw him on February 16.
Days later, they found his body in a pineapple sack in a forest. The forest was near Nairobi, around 66 miles away.
Police are calling it murder and have arrested two people. They are still investigating, and are really upset because it’s a terrible crime.
Kenya’s homicide unit is investigating the case, believing they will solve it. They are sure someone will pay for this, and it is really awful, I agree.
A local leader spoke to a Kenyan newspaper, saying Scott’s hands were tied. He was probably tortured, it seemed, since his body was in bad shape.
Scott worked for Fico as a senior director. Fico said they’re heartbroken about it, as he helped their business grow a lot.
Fico added that Scott was funny and kind, and they will miss him a lot. They are thinking of his family now, and it’s so sad to think about.
The UK government is helping Scott’s family and is talking to Kenyan officials. Such a terrible thing to happen, don’t you think?
