Kenyan police are looking for three men connected to a Scottish businessman’s death. His body was found tied up in a sack.

Campbell Scott was found dead last month after disappearing in Nairobi following a conference. The death is being treated as murder, and two people have been arrested so far.

The police are hunting three men who “fled and went into hiding” after the “heinous crime” of dumping Scott’s body.

The suspects are linked to Scott’s murder. He was 58 and British, and his body was found on February 22, 2025, in Makongo Forest. He came to Kenya for a business conference.

The suspects are Benard Mbunga Mbusu, Samuel Musembi Kamitu, and Alphonse Munyao Kilewa, who is also known as Edu.

Police posted their pictures online, asking people to contact them with information about the men.

Scott was last seen at the Nairobi conference at the JW Marriot Hotel on February 16. His body was found in a sack in a forest, with his hands tied.

A Kenyan court ruled that the suspects can be held for 21 days to allow for further police investigations. The pair appeared in court Monday.

Scott was from Dunfermline in Fife and worked at credit-scoring firm Fico as a senior director.

Fico said they were devastated by his death, noting that he helped grow their international business. They will miss his humor and kindness, and their thoughts are with his family and friends.

Kenya’s police called it a “heinous crime,” with the homicide unit leading the investigation. A Foreign Office spokesperson gave a statement, affirming that they support the family and are in contact with authorities.
