A man is found guilty of conspiracy after a £1.3 million robbery at a Kew Road jewellers. Investigation continues.

Met Police Flying Squad detectives studied CCTV footage, and this analysis led to Mannix Pedro’s conviction. Pedro, age 37, organized the robbery. The court found him guilty of conspiracy, and his sentencing will happen later.
The jury could not agree about a second man, so he will have a new trial later. Police used video to find the getaway car and also linked the two robbers to three other men. These men helped plan the robbery. The investigation continues.
Oliver White, the 27-year-old manager, died the next day. His mother called it a “devastating loss,” and a full inquest into his death has not happened yet. She described him as a warm and brilliant person who was incredibly kind and caring.
Oliver wanted to buy a house and have a family in the future. He worked hard to achieve his dreams. His mother said Oliver was trustworthy and honest, and the conviction showed he was not involved in the robbery. His family are devastated by his loss.
Detective Sergeant Matt Hollands led the investigation. He stated the robbery was planned for months and that he is glad a dangerous offender was convicted. Hollands wants to find the other three men involved and aims to bring them to court.
