Teen Nicholas Prosper filmed himself with a fake gun before fatally shooting his mother and siblings in Luton.

Prosper wore a yellow hat and jacket in the flat’s kitchen. He menacingly held wood like a gun. He pretended to shoot, saying “bang.” A bag carried a real shotgun months later, as he wanted attention like notorious killers.
Prosper is being sentenced for the murders of Juliana Prosper, Kyle Prosper, and Giselle Prosper. The family was shot in the head in Luton. Police stopped him near his home after the killings.
He planned a school massacre, cold and deliberate. Officers found a shotgun and cartridges. “Kill all” was written on a classroom diagram, and neighbors heard loud bangs, like shots.
Police found Juliana and two kids dead in the flat, all shot in the head. Kyle was stabbed over 100 times, and Giselle hid under a table.
Prosper planned to stay with their bodies and wait until the school filled. His family realized something was wrong, and a violent struggle ensued.
Prosper had a disturbing internet history. He plotted the attack for over a year and shared videos defending vile acts on social media.
Prosper researched school shootings, including Columbine. He showed alienation and interest in dark topics. He had undiagnosed autism and lacked empathy and remorse beyond autism.
He watched videos of people dying and was banned for pro-paedo comments. He was obsessed with a child character and threatened his sister over a game choice.
Prosper searched online for violent content before the murders. He searched “shotgun injuries to the neck,” disturbing and illegal terms, and for the Sarah Everard murder too.
He desired to carry out a major school shooting, wanting lasting notoriety. He wanted to surpass other killers and planned many deaths at a school.
His note said it would be a huge event, and he wasn’t just fantasizing. Family murder was “killing for the sake of killing.” He faked a firearms license and offered £600 for a shotgun and cartridges.
He planned to kill kids at St. Joseph’s Primary and take his own life afterward. Police foiled the plot and found the shotgun hidden nearby.
Police said he was apprehended before more harm. He joined a gun trader site in April 2024, researched faking a firearms certificate, and picked up the gun on September 12.
The seller was deceived by the fake license. Footage showed him taking the weapon, and he smirked in a lift as the scheme worked.
Prosper pleaded guilty to three counts of murder. He also admitted other offenses, including intent to endanger life, possessing a blade, and purchasing a shotgun illegally.
The family said Julie was a loving mother. Kyle was a kind and funny young man, while Giselle was a beautiful and caring girl.
