A food event showcasing dishes from around the world raised funds for a local adaptive sports hub.

Over eighty people tasted foods from many countries. India, Italy, and Lithuania were represented, as were Morocco, the Philippines, and Poland. Singapore, the Sudan, Syria, and Ukraine also had dishes.
Rotary members and friends gave the food freely. They wore national dress and showed off their dishes. The event raised money for the Adaptive Sports Hub.
This hub will be at Lynnsport and helps people access fitness and fun. The building will be accessible to everyone, with changing rooms and adapted sports areas planned.
A sensory room and social area are also planned. Charities can rent space there, like Little Discoverers. Little Miracles and Pelicans Hockey Club may join.
Katie Fisher thanked everyone for attending. She represented the Adaptive Sports Hub and appreciated the Rotary Club’s efforts on the project.
The hub should be ready in about three years. They welcome local support for the project.
