West Norfolk saw some drivers in court, a sex offender broke the rules, and one man even hurt his partner.

Unsafe drivers were on West Norfolk roads lately; some drove while drinking or using drugs. One young man took his mom’s car without her permission.

One shocking story involved a woman who met a teen in a hospital and later told her to end her life. These cases went to Lynn Magistrates’ Court this past week.

A sentence has now been given to the woman who told a teen to commit suicide online. Nadine Sparrow, age 20, met the girl at a hospital in Lynn last March. They stayed in touch after leaving the hospital.

Sparrow told the 17-year-old how to end her life, giving her very specific details.

Amy McHenry, 52, drove drunk and crashed into a hedge. She chose to drive instead of walking 15 minutes. Police received a call about her driving, and someone took her car keys.

Luke Graham, a registered sex offender, broke the law again when he deleted his internet history. He informed the police about it, having previously possessed indecent images of children.

Ben Gray, age 29, repeatedly punched his ex and stole her purse containing cash. He will avoid jail time, having later changed his plea to guilty.

Donatas Sakalauskas, a 40-year-old shoplifter, took a trolley full of groceries without paying. He had an argument with his sister and expresses a desire to change his life.

Alan Wilby, 22, displayed a lack of maturity when he took his mom’s car to drive to the gym. He did not have her permission and had no license or insurance.

Spencer Waldron drove while under the influence of drugs. Police followed him, causing him to become nervous. He did not believe he was over the legal limit.

Courtney Inder, 25, pushed a police officer, stating she felt unsafe at home. Police had arrived to arrest her partner.

Harry Kirk, age 24, had been drinking with friends and booked a taxi to go home. However, he then drove himself. The taxi driver alerted the police, and Kirk was arrested for drunk driving.
