Levi Coburn, 28, assaulted his ex-partner in front of a baby and resisted arrest. He received a suspended sentence.

Levi hit his ex-partner last November. A baby was right there when it happened, near Alive Lynnsport. Then, he tried to stop the police from arresting him.
The police were already dealing with something else when people told them about Coburn’s assault. He and his ex argued before it happened. CCTV caught him pushing her.
When police came, Coburn gave them a hard time. He even tried to run away from them. Cops caught him, but he acted like he wanted to fight. He even tried to escape after being cuffed.
Coburn’s lawyer said he’s trying to be better. She said he used to be in court all the time, but now he’s working with probation and the Purfleet Trust. He was diagnosed with ADHD recently too.
The lawyer then asked the court to let him stay free. She said he needs his home and wants to avoid problems. A probation officer said he’s working well with services, despite past domestic violence.
The court gave Coburn a 12-week jail sentence, but they suspended it for 18 months. He must do a mental health course for a year. He also needs to pay some money to the victim and police.
