James Wild MP commits to prioritizing local wishes with newly confirmed £20m funding for King’s Lynn projects.

The government is giving Lynn £20 million. This investment should improve living standards in Lynn. It’s part of a Plan for Neighbourhoods.
The plan helps 75 areas nationwide. These areas felt “left behind” before now. Lynn will get £20 million, and the money goes to key town projects.
The MP for North West Norfolk is happy. He is glad the prior funding continued. The government approved this funding before. He said the government listened to the town’s needs.
They are already delivering projects via a town deal worth £25 million. He will ensure projects reflect priorities, and the projects will be running over the next decade. This money will improve several things.
High streets and hubs will benefit. Health services will grow, and economic growth should also increase. They will address crime problems. Anti-social behavior will be tackled too.
The plan splits the sum; capital funding gets £14.93 million, and revenue will get £4.59 million.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke, too. She said no more short-term fixes will happen. It will be a ten-year plan instead. This unlocks potential for local homes. She stated some areas lacked investment, and that the areas deserve reform.
