Kirkstall Festival seeks volunteers. Key roles open following retirements of long-time committee members.

Several committee positions are open now, and other members might retire, too. Volunteers help run this community event each year, because they play a vital role.
Fundraising and stall planner roles exist and these committee roles are all voluntary work. Someone with grant writing experience is ideal, and they need multiple stall planners, because more people are useful here.
Volunteers on festival day are welcome too. Find the information point to help out, and you will get a task that day.
This year’s festival is Saturday, July 12th. The theme will be Kirkstall Toyland that day, and stall applications open in early March.
Contact Roger Plumtree by email to volunteer; his email is chair@kirkstall.org.uk, because he is the festival Chair.
The first festival was in 1981. A history of the festival exists online, and Liz Minkin wrote it.
