Kitty O’Sheas Crowned Best Pub at Glasgow Bar Awards 2025

Hey, guess what happened at the Glasgow Bar Awards! They had twelve categories this year. Two were brand new: Best Late Night Bar and Best Restaurant Bar. Old favorites like Best Cocktail were there too. Of course, they gave out the Best Bar award!

Barry and Kirstie Oattes won the Legend award. They are the team behind Kelvingrove Café. Absent Ear got named best bar. Kitty O’Shea’s won best pub.

Kirstie Oattes felt really touched by their award. She wanted to thank everyone involved. She especially thanked those at Kelvingrove Café.

David Smillie organizes the awards each year. He said this year was the best. He noted all the talent in Glasgow’s bar scene. He thanked everyone for their support. They are already planning next year’s event!

Sebb’s won Best Restaurant Bar. Tabac has the Best Bar Team. Howlin’ Wolf got Best Late Night Bar prize. Stephen Lamb is the Social Star. Aphrodite won Best Cocktail.
Emma Kirk won Far Side of the Bar award. Julia Fletcher Smith became Unsung Hero. Bran Edgar is the Rising Star. Aimee Ashworth and Scott Stevenson tied for Best Shake.
