Fundraiser at Lamphey Village Hall provides £1,464 to Homeless Pembrokeshire, Sandy Bear, and Trussell Trust Food Bank.

The organizers were happy. The event had strong support and took place on Saturday, February 15. Homeless Pembrokeshire, Sandy Bear, and The Trussell Trust Food Bank will benefit from the fundraiser.
The kitchen and hall saw two busy hours as the hall filled with people. Tables featured lovely spring flowers. Guests came from across the county, enjoying lunch and friendly conversations.
People selected from three kinds of soup. Deciding on dessert proved difficult, as many homemade options looked delicious. Hot and cold desserts were available, with takeaway options for those undecided.
The raffle proved quite popular and raised a significant amount of money. Six prizes existed for lucky winners. Villagers donated hamper contents and Manorbier Newton friends supplied the goods.
The organizers appreciated the support, as people helped the three charities via this event. Friends assisted with various tasks such as washing dishes, clearing tables, serving drinks and food, and managing finances.
The group functions smoothly and efficiently because Helen Brickell designs and organizes everything yearly. She inspires many others to help, and they thanked her for her skills.
