Police hunt driver who fled after a crash, leaving a 16 year old girl seriously injured.

Hey, something happened in Blackpool last night. It was around midnight on Whitegate Drive. Sadly, a car hit two people riding an E-scooter.

The car was white; maybe a hatchback. The driver didn’t stop after the crash. A sixteen-year-old girl got badly hurt, and they took her to the hospital right away.

Police are looking for the driver and they need the public’s help to find them. A seventeen-year-old boy was arrested there and is now in police custody.

Police are asking for information about the accident, wanting to hear from anyone who saw anything. The girl has a serious head injury, and police are thinking of her family.

Officers especially want to see footage, including footage from nearby streets like Whitegate Drive, Hornby Road, or Mere Road. Did you see a white car then?
