Joe Robinson, 22, died in a B6282 crash near Toft Hill. His family is devastated; police seek witnesses.

The accident happened near Toft Hill on the B6282 road. Joe was from Leeholme and died at the crash location.
His family shared a statement, expressing their devastation. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, as well as a good boyfriend. Friends and family all miss him, especially his parents. He was a special person and won’t be forgotten.
Paramedics took two people, a man and woman from the Kia, to Darlington Memorial Hospital. Police have not released information about their conditions.
The police closed the road between Nettlebed Lane and the A68 to investigate the car crash. Several ambulances and The Great North Air Ambulance arrived at the scene with a doctor and paramedic on board.
