Richmond Rotary Club donated a Lego display to Influence Church. Features include moving parts and local scenes.
They supported mountain rescue and Mayfest groups. Garget Walker House and Marie Curie also benefitted. They helped the air ambulance and Ukraine appeal. Best Kept Village also got support.
Ian Armstrong made the Lego display. He is a Rotarian. It had moving parts for kids. Skaters, skiers, and a train were on the model. It went around a model lake.
Ruth Appleby won the Lego display. It was too big for her house. She asked Rotary to find it a home. They gave it to the Hero Factory. It’s at the Influence Church.
Kids at the junior church love the model. Faye Thomson leads the junior church. She says they are grateful for the gift. It brings much excitement to the children.
Mac Bryant is Rotary’s president. He is happy they found a good home. He thanked the raffle winner. Many charities gained from the raffle. Things worked out well in the end.
