These hubs have more council services available. Bargoed and other towns might get new hubs. New Tredegar Library stays open for three more years. The council thinks hubs will better meet needs.
Some people aren’t thrilled about this change though. Many users disagree with the council plan. Leisure centers in Bedwas and other towns may shut. Reduced leisure sites started as an idea in 2018.
