Lewishams Busiest and Quietest Train Stations Unveiled in New Report

Data from On Time Trains showed station use. They looked at average daily passengers. The study focused on Lewisham’s 17 train stations. They checked which stations were busiest in 2024.

Lewisham station was the most used in the area. It had about 17,950 visits each day. Lewisham ranked 992nd out of 2,639 UK stations, with a performance score of 92 percent.

Last year, 51 percent of trains ran on time there. Four percent were over 10 minutes late, and three percent of trains got cancelled. Southeastern, DLR, and Elizabeth lines serve Lewisham, providing access to central London and Heathrow.

Lower Sydenham was the least used Lewisham station. It saw about 841 visitors per day last year. Southeastern trains stop at Lower Sydenham enabling passengers to go to central London and Dartford. The station earned an 85 percent performance score.

In 2024, 42 percent of trains were on time. Thirty-four percent were one to two late, while seven percent were over 10 minutes late.
