An 82 year old man was found dead with stab wounds. Authorities are investigating the unclear death.

The coroner, Graeme Irvine, spoke about the case. Mr. Parram lived near Barclay Road. A person found him on January 21st, lying down in a fetal position and wearing a nice suit. Paramedics came, but they said he was already dead.
Police treated the site as a crime scene. Later, they gave the case to the coroner. An inquest started on February 5th. The post-mortem found unclear reasons for his death, and they still do not know the exact cause.
The pathologist found piercing injuries that likely contributed to his death. Because of this, they will hold a formal inquest. Inquests examine unusual deaths and see if similar deaths can be stopped.
The coroner called Parram’s family “interested persons.” This legal status lets them see evidence and question witnesses in court. He asked them to give background details, including his mental and physical health, and any concerns about his death.
Mr. Irvine wants Mr. Parram’s doctor records and records of any mental health care. If a mental health group treated him, they want those records too. A consultant must also give a statement. The final inquest date is set for July.
