Rescued Lhasa Apso Jeremy, 10, needs a calm, patient home in Suffolk after enduring years in harsh breeding conditions.

The facility closed, and Blue Cross took Jeremy to Wherstead, their Suffolk rehoming center. He was found matted and scared of people. He then spent 200 days getting care.
Hannah Ward, who works with dog behavior, said Jeremy was in bad shape. He wouldn’t go near anyone at first and hadn’t been walked before. He slept on straw and shared a bowl.
He didn’t move for a week or two, being too scared to eat from his own bowl. Now, he’s getting more relaxed and has gone to a foster home.
He’s building confidence there, interacting with people and going outside for walks. The team wants a calm home for him.
Hannah mentioned his fears are real. New owners must understand this, as he might never want to be touched. However, he likes being in the same room as people.
They need someone patient who will give him time to adjust. Ideally, another friendly dog would be there, and any kids should be over sixteen to give him space.
