Friend and hotel staff cleared in Liam Payne’s death case in Argentina. Drug suppliers still face charges.

Two other guys faced charges too: Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Paiz. They are accused of giving Payne cocaine. Their charges are still active, and they are in jail, where they await trial for supplying drugs to Payne.
Roger Nores spoke to Rolling Stone and said he’s happy it’s over. Now, he can travel to the UK and say goodbye to his friend.
Nores, Martin, and Grassi could have faced five years in prison. Drug supply in Argentina can carry a 15-year sentence. Payne fell from his hotel balcony around 5:10 pm on October 16th. The hotel room was on the third floor.
Before that, Payne argued with two women in the hotel lobby. Cleaning reported a broken TV in his room.
Tests showed alcohol, cocaine, and antidepressants were in his system. The postmortem exam revealed his death was from multiple injuries, with bleeding both inside and out contributing to his death.
