Jaden Sheriff, 20, receives life for fatally stabbing Robert Weston, 37, in Harrow on Valentine’s Day.
Police got a call on February 26, 2024. It reported a stabbing in Harrow. Robert Weston had stab wounds, including one to his heart. Sadly, he died at the scene.
A detective, Devan Taylor, led this case. He said the attack was senseless. Sheriff should have been Robert’s friend. Now Sheriff faces life knowing he killed someone, and the family is still grieving.
Sheriff first said it was self-defense. He claimed Robert pulled a knife. But witnesses told a different story, saying Sheriff attacked Robert after a fight. Evidence showed a deliberate stabbing.
Robert called 999 before his death, three days before the stabbing, reporting threats from Sheriff at his home. This call showed their worsening relationship.
Sheriff was arrested on February 27, 2024, and charged with murder. He also had an offensive weapon. The jury found him guilty of murder on January 30th, and he must serve at least 19 years.
