The Sea Cadets receive a boost from the Lions Club to renovate their classroom, improving learning conditions.

They required heaters to keep it warm. They also needed a dehumidifier to remove dampness and used chairs and tables would finish it. Their base is in Glastonbury.
Young cadets helped by raising money. They earned almost £1,000 through activities like kayaking around the reservoir, running, and cycling.
A cadet spokesperson shared their excitement. The improved space helps the junior cadets, addressing problems with the old classroom. It leaked and was quite damp, with peeling paint off the walls inside.
The speaker said the project builds pride. Cadets now have a nice, warm, and comfortable space where they can learn about sea adventures. They truly deserve it.
A Lions spokesperson commented on their work and admired the cadets’ own fundraising efforts. The fund supports local youth, and this project fit the fund’s goals well.
They visited the cadet unit, T.S. Excalibur, and the Lions group felt welcome there. They value how Sea Cadets help kids grow.
The classroom repair is complete. Junior cadets can now learn comfortably and enjoy the Sea Cadet experience in a much better space.
