Community will line streets for Hope Gordon’s procession to Adambrae Cemetery after tragic death.

The family asks the community to gather and line streets towards Adambrae Cemetery. Hope will pass by in a horse-drawn carriage. Co-op Funeralcare posted a message online about “Hope’s final journey,” sharing the plan with the public.
Hope will leave Co-op Funeralcare around 12:45 pm on February 10, heading to her final resting place. The family wants to thank the community for all the love and support after this tragic loss. They specifically ask people to line the streets near Adambrae Cemetery.
Another message gave the exact route to the cemetery. They turn out of the funeral home to the left and go up Almondvale East Road. Then, they turn right at the small roundabout, continuing along Dedridge East Road.
The procession goes straight over a roundabout and then follows Dedridge West Road. They then turn left onto Dedridge North Road. Over the roundabout they proceed into Adambrae and expect to reach the cemetery around 1:15 pm.
Melanie Wheeldon, a close family friend, started a fundraising page for “Hope’s Day.” People donated over £10,000, exceeding the £2,000 goal. Ms. Wheeldon wrote a statement on the page.
She said they learned of Hope’s murder on January 20, 2025, and it broke their hearts. Hope was a vibrant, loving girl known for her infectious smile and kind spirit.
Her love for animals also stood out. Sadly, Hope’s life was cut short, leaving a void that her family and friends will never fill.
