Join the charity walk along the Llangollen Canal this spring to raise money for Hope House Children’s Hospices.

The walk is on Sunday, March 23, and it starts at Trevor Basin. Walkers then go over the famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct.
They will walk along the canal to The Poachers pub at Chirk where they will have refreshments. Walkers then return to get medals.
In 2024, the event raised £18,000. The money went to the hospices and helped kids who have life-threatening conditions live well.
Vicky Bradbeer spoke about the walk, which is in its 15th year. She said it will make people happy and encourages friends and family to join, and also to bring their dogs.
Half of the places are already booked for the very popular event. It always sells out quickly, so people should sign up soon and get tickets from the Hope House website.
Kronospan, a company based in Chirk, sponsors the event this year. They will also have a team walking.
Ben Spruce from Kronospan is happy to sponsor the event and support Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith. His team will join the walk, and he wishes everyone luck and hopes they raise lots of money.
Tickets cost £15 for adults and £5 for children. Everyone gets a special medal for 2025, and walkers get a goody bag halfway.
