Ellie Kelham, who danced at Elite for years, is now the owner. She trained with Stephanie, the previous owner.
At eleven, Ellie helped in younger classes and then became a teaching assistant. She said dancing is a part of her life, as her teachers showed her the joy of dance.
Ellie thanks Stephanie for her mentorship. Stephanie ran Elite for thirteen years, and they had their last show together in July 2024. It was an emotional moment.
Ellie wants to continue the school’s legacy. They are preparing for ballet exams, and their annual show is at Redditch Palace Theatre next July.
Ellie earned an A* in Dance in A-levels and completed a two-year course. She now has RAD teacher qualifications and became the school’s principal. Elite is based at Bromsgrove Sports and Leisure Centre on School Drive with classes Tuesday to Friday after school and Saturday mornings.
