ITV airs a show on Logan Mwangi’s murder, focusing on the conviction of his mother, Angharad Williamson, and her partner.

The show airs March 4, 2025, at 10:45 p.m. on ITV. It shows why Angharad Williamson went to jail, as did her partner, John Cole, and Cole’s son, Craig Mulligan, who were also found guilty. They all murdered Logan.
Logan’s body had bad injuries when they found him in July 2021. Williamson claimed she was protective and said she loved Logan a lot.
The court found Williamson and Cole guilty in April 2022, along with a 14-year-old boy. Williamson got life in prison and must serve at least 28 years; she tried to appeal the conviction but failed.
Cole was in a far-right group and called Logan names using racist terms. He tried to say it was affectionate, but people who knew Cole said he was very racist, which could explain his actions. He got life in prison, and must serve at least 29 years.
Mulligan also got life, and he must serve at least 15 years. Logan died at home, July 31, 2021, and they tried to cover up the crime. CCTV showed Cole and Mulligan with his body, putting him in a river.
Williamson called 999 acting distraught, saying Logan was missing and claiming he was kidnapped. She blamed the others during the trial as Logan’s injuries looked like a car crash; he had many external and internal injuries from blunt force.
Ben Mwangi is Logan’s father, but Williamson stopped him from seeing Logan, and he hadn’t seen Logan for 19 months. Ben spoke in the ITV documentary and was shocked and saddened, saying Logan called him “Daddy.”
Logan was on a child protection register one month before his death. A social worker went to their home but did not see Logan because Williamson said he had Covid. Ben wants social services to tell parents like him if kids are at risk.
