A woman was arrested in London following a fraud investigation. A related property search occurred in Waringstown.

Police also searched a house in Waringstown, County Down, which related to the same case.
Police arrested her for multiple reasons, which included suspected fraud and money laundering. Police also searched a home within the city for this, and Northern Ireland police got help from London officers.
During the local search, police found items, with Cyber Crime and Tactical Support assisting. They took documents and electronics, and the police will examine them more closely.
Detective Chief Inspector Boyd commented that they disrupt illegal acts, such as fraud. He says fraudsters only want money and that this hurts other people.
Boyd mentioned teamwork and thanked various police departments, also appreciating local support. He asked people to share information, advising them to call 101 if they know something.
