Multiple crashes across London and Kent lead to fatalities and injuries, prompting police investigations and appeals for witnesses.

On February 14, a Rainham A13 crash stopped traffic. Two cars crashed around 4:30 p.m. It happened eastbound near Ferry Lane Interchange. Some drivers stopped to help.
Two air ambulances landed in a field nearby. The road stayed closed until the next day. One car’s passenger, a man in his early 40s, died. Another driver, a man in his mid 40s, also died.

In Kent, a 71-year-old man died on February 14. A van struck him on the M20. Police said his blue Kia stopped on the hard shoulder. This was between junctions 8 and 9 coastbound.

Near Upminster, three people went to the hospital. This followed an A127 crash on February 15. Emergency services found two cars crashed. This was at M25 junction 29, around 4:30 p.m. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening. No one was arrested after this crash.
On the same day, someone went to the hospital in Romford. This was after a morning crash by Gallows Corner. It happened on the A12 Eastern Avenue East. Police learned about the crash around 8:30 a.m. A car and a van crashed headed towards London. The injuries were described as not life-threatening.
