On February 14, a crash stopped traffic on the A13 in Rainham. Two cars crashed around 4:30 p.m. eastbound near Ferry Lane Interchange. Cars going the other way stopped to help. Two air ambulances landed in a nearby field. The road stayed closed until the next day.

On the A13, some drivers even stopped to give aid. A man in his early 40s died; he was a passenger in one of the crashed cars. Another man in his mid 40s also died. He was driving another vehicle involved. The other driver went to the hospital with injuries that may change his life forever.

Police ask anyone with info to call 101, referencing CAD 7011/2FEB2025. In Kent, a van hit and killed a 71-year-old on the M20, also on February 14. Police say a blue Kia stopped on the hard shoulder between junctions 8 and 9 coastbound around 10:20 p.m. The driver got out and the van then hit him, killing him at the scene. A woman passenger sustained minor injuries.

Near Upminster, a crash hurt three people on February 15 on the A127 Southend Arterial Road, who went to the hospital. The crash, involving two cars, occurred at junction 29 of the M25 at 4:30 p.m.. injuries were thankfully not life-threatening, and police did not arrest anyone.

The same day, someone went to the hospital from Romford after a morning crash on the A12 Eastern Avenue East by Gallows Corner. Police learned about it at 8:30 a.m. A car and a van crashed going toward London. Police confirm that one person’s injuries were not life-threatening.
