A couple engaged at the Northern Farmer Awards! After twenty years together, John proposed to Anita. It took place in Harrogate.
They first met at the George Hotel in Scarborough two decades ago. Alfie, 17, and Harrison, 11, are their kids. They own a dairy farm located in Scalby, Scarborough.
They are incredibly happy about their engagement. The couple has not set a wedding date. James thought the location was perfect, and friends and family joined them there to celebrate this good news.
The engagement happened during dinner and was announced over the loudspeaker. Other guests cheered when they heard. The Northern Farmer Awards took place Thursday, showcasing dedication in agriculture.
The ceremony occurred at Pavilions of Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Showground. New categories introduced this year include poultry, young farmers, excellence in services, and a lifetime award honoring contributions to agriculture.
