An 11-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a crash on the M606 northbound; four others were hospitalized.

The worst crash involved a lorry and a car. Police received a call at 5:39 PM reporting this crash just before junction 3 on the M606 northbound involving a car and a wagon.
Ambulances transported four people to hospitals; three went to Leeds General Infirmary, and one person went to Dewsbury and District Hospital. An eleven-year-old boy suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries, while three others received treatment for minor injuries.
An air ambulance landed nearby around 6:30 PM in a field near the M606’s middle junction. West Yorkshire Police are investigating the incidents through their Roads Policing Unit.
