A large fire broke out at an industrial estate in Oswestry. Firefighters from six stations responded.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue got the call at 4:49 AM on February 23rd. Sadly, several trucks burned up completely, requiring many firefighters and lots of water.
Fire engines came from several towns, including Oswestry and Ellesmere. Baschurch, Shrewsbury, and Telford also sent help, and officers and investigators went there too.
Firefighters used hoses and special jets to put water on the fire. According to the fire report, lorries and a tractor caught fire, and a nearby building also suffered some damage. They needed six fire engines to manage it, providing enough people, water, and breathing gear.
Crews used thermal cameras to check for heat. Thankfully, nobody got hurt in the fire! Fire crews stayed there for hours afterward, carefully cooling down the wreckage and looking for any remaining hot spots.
Ellesmere Fire Station said more help was needed upon arrival. They requested more resources right away. Seven engines were there in total, with many officers also present. Crews stayed, ensuring everything was safe and putting out any lingering embers quickly. The good news is nobody was involved.
