Darrel Thomson faces assault and abuse charges for incidents between 2016 and 2018 in Auchinleck and Ayr.

They say he caused fear from 2016 to 2018. This happened at two places in Auchinleck. It involved his then-partner. He allegedly shouted and demanded money. Prosecutors claim he swore and made threats. He also allegedly grabbed her.
They say he pursued her, too. Once, he supposedly dragged her by her hair. This happened on Cameron Drive. It was sometime in December 2016. Another time, he allegedly dragged her; they say he pulled her from a car.
He then left her on Barony Road. This was back in November 2017. He’s also charged with a serious assault. The claim is that he punched her head. This caused severe injury and disfigurement. It happened on Cameron Drive in March 2018.
His lawyer said he denies all charges. He might call three witnesses. Thomson lives on Belmont Avenue in Ayr. He will be back in court later. The court date is not set yet.
